PALAZZO POGGI MUSEUMS
The building dates back to the end of the 15th Century. It became the home of the Science Institute in the 18th Century with the purpose of housing the scientific knowledge of the time. Today Palazzo Poggi is one of the most beautiful Museum in Italy and its numerous frescoes make this building really unique! We suggest to visit the Obstetrics Museum, a 17th century unique collection of 170 anatomical models in wax and baked clay; they were used for teaching purposes to physicians and midwives. Do not miss it!
