FERRARA: The city of diamonds

This beautiful city, lying in the middle of the Po valley, was once the centre of the D`Este Family`s Duchy. It still witnesses the Renaissance atmosphere with its splendid buildings. The itinerary will include the Estense Castle, a splendid fortress later residence of the court, the Cathedral, perfect fusion of Romanesque and Gothic styles, the Jewish Ghetto and the Schifanoia Palace. At the end of the visit try a delightful lunch in a famous restaurant in the medieval city centre and choose among the food specialities like: tortelloni with pumpkin and salama da sugo!

The price includes: full day (6 hours) private car with English speaking Chauffeur at your disposal, 1 hour and a half guided visit of Ferrara.
